Life is short – Make it count

Today I went to the funeral of a colleague and friend who died in January suddenly aged just 57.

He was fit and healthy and it was such a shock for everyone.

It just shows how true the phrase “Life is short” really is. The world has lost a true gentleman, a great man. A family has lost a Husband, a Father, a Son, an Uncle. Our company has lost an amazing friend and colleague.

He made the most of every day and he was a part of so much and made an impact on so many people’s lives.

We all loved Tony. He was like family. We all held each other tight this afternoon and counted our blessings for having each other. We have been lucky to have Tony in our lives albeit for way too short a time.

Sleep tight tonight Tony. I will miss you more than you can ever know.
